Lineless Practice: Assorted

As of last year I have found a style that I found both fun and interesting to produce, giving a challenge of not only creating a character, but also focusing on the form, how it stands from other parts of the image and how the light gives it depth. I may do more of these sometime.

Made in a rather fast time, despite this, I feel that this piece has achieved a good sense of material and use of colour.

A community created character. I believe this shows a good form, the colours blend nicely and the use of shading on the hair looks interesting.

Another community created character. I feel as though this attempt however feels somewhat less interesting, the pose was awkward to work resulting in poor form.

An older piece, one in which I first attempted the lineless style in tandem with shading. The pose is dynamic and the use of shading on the leg helps grant it form. Use of colour could be better however.

My first attempt at the lineless style. Asides the "stiffness" of the pose, I believe the fire could have looked better. The lack of shading makes the piece appear flat like paper, an interesting effect.
